Covid-19 Precautions and Practices

East Haddam Land Trust preserves remain open for your outdoor enjoyment and recreation. We ask that everyone follow Covid-19 social-distancing guidelines so that everyone who seeks the outdoor comfort and exercise feels safe.

Please:
  • stay home if you have a fever, persistent cough, or any potential Covid-19 symptoms

  • maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from hikers you meet along the trail

  • wear a facemask if hiking with people outside of your family or social pod

  • respect the natural environments by remaining on the trails

  • feel free to picnic at Land Trust preserves but please carry out all your trash

  • help our volunteers by carefully removing any trash you find and can easily carry out

  • contact us using the link at the top of the page if you see any conditions in need of immediate attention

Visit the Connecticut Covid-19 page for more information.
