Donating Land

Conserving your land for future generations is a lasting legacy. It is a way to ensure that land you love remains in a natural state. Many of the Preserves East Haddam's residents and visitors enjoy today came about through donations from individuals who understand the importance of natural landscapes. These places provide peaceful places from the busy lives of daily living,  provide homes for native flora and fauna, and help keep local soils, waterways, and air clean from the pollutants of modern life.

East Haddam Land Trust partners with the Connecticut Land Conservation Council in offering you information to help you understand the various methods available to you on their website.
