Haddam Land Swap Info Page

This page provides links to information about the approved (by the House and Senate) swap of 17 acres of state-owned wildlife management land managed by the DEP in Haddam for land adjacent to Cockaponsett State Forest, also located in Haddam. These 17 acres were sold to the State with the intent that they remain Open Space; thus, this issue is an important one, not only to preserve this critical riverfront property, but because of the implications to future sales or donations of land intended to remain as Open Space.
