Stewardship
The East Haddam Land Trust currently holds almost 230 acres of land on its preserves, and depends on volunteer stewardship to care for these parcels. Stewards assigned to a preserve will conduct activities including trail creation and marking, boundary marking and monitoring, and general trimming and safety work to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit by the public.
If you are a steward, click here to download and save the Inspection Report form to your hard drive; after completing the form, either email it to Rob Smith or mail it to the address listed on the form.
The Trust always needs volunteers for stewardship, so if you are interested, please contact Rob Smith.
Work Parties
Work parties for the preserves will be on the third Saturday of every month (generally 9 am-Noon). Details will be posted on the Events Calendar page; also, watch for an email announcement.
